When you first register and account and log into the dashboard, you first step will be to create your 'domain', which is like your organization or class. All you need to get started is to enter a name and a contact email, and you can always come back to change your domain configuration.

Your domain will be created with a default role (for assigning training materials), default group (for segmenting users) and very basic game economy and theme. You can get started by creating a simple training material rewarding some gold, and log into the front end to test your first piece of training.

Typical next steps might include:

  • creating training categories to organize training
  • building out your game resources to fit your game economy
  • creating training content and using game resources and training to titrate content, and rewarding game resources
  • building our your theme to make the front end user experience compelling

Before you start building out game resources, it would probably make sense to start thinking about what your game world looks like, what is the narrative, what mission are you putting your learner on. Think about the end game, and work backwards to develop a journey of how your learner will get there.
